The red wine Muga Prado Enea Gran Reserva Rioja DOCa, vintage 2001 from the winery Bodegas Muga has been rated in 2011 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Tempranillo, Grenache, Carignan, Graciano from the region La Rioja in Spain.
Ripe dark ruby colour. Tart, yet warming flavours with a fine sweet fruit core and roasted porcini mushrooms - beautifully matured. The silky palate shows enormous vitality and concentration, with a very long, elegant, fresh and precise finish. A great, traditional style.
