Tasting Notes
The nose shows from mature notes, as well as fig jam and herbs. The palate is full and yet finely pixelated thanks to silky tannins that solidify into a fine graininess. There's lots of intense mineral drive and undercurrent. An old school styling that's just beginning to open up, but the tannins closing in the finish show that you can bet on development here for another ten or twenty years.
