The red wine Muga Reserva, vintage 2018 from the winery Bodegas Muga has been rated in 2022 by Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, Mazuelo from the region La Rioja in Spain.
Elegant bouquet with notes of confit and fresh blackberry, dried plum and preserved cherry. Hints of shoe polish, liquorice, dark chocolate, bay leaf and allspice. Beautiful supporting acidity on the palate, pithy cherry fruit and dried plum as well as citric nuances. Fine-grained, ripe tannin, long finish.
