The franciacorta Franciacorta DOCG Vintage Collection Extra Brut, vintage 2019 from the winery Ca’ del Bosco has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc from the region Franciacorta in Italy.
Rich, bright golden yellow in colour. On the nose, a fragrant, warm bouquet of fresh bread, dried peach and apricot, with a slightly nutty note in the background alongside subtle hints of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, an elegant, finely structured mousse, nevertheless with plenty of tension and electrifying acidity, right onto the long, saline finish.
