Tasting Notes
Light salmon pink, silver reflections; fine, very persistent mousse. Nuances of candied orange zest, fresh fig, delicately smoky, fine herbal savouriness, wild red berry jam, still a little restrained. (One could, indeed should, decant this rosé). Full-bodied and balanced, medium complexity, pleasant fruity-sweetness, delicate cherry touch, fine red fruit compote, balanced, harmonious, a hint of tangerine and cardamom on the finish. Looks very promising compared with its sensational predecessor from 2002 vintage; still a little well-behaved.
