Tasting Notes
Based on the vintages 2004, 2002 and 1999. The first whiff shows signs of evolution and the richness of maturity is expressed in a lovely note of smoky quince, paired with an exotic flash of passion fruit. The palate, however, brims with energetic freshness and wild notes of candied grapefruit and mandarin, all supported by very fine mousse. The aromatics on the finish are beguiling.
