Tasting Notes
The nose opens with oystershell saltiness, creaminess and fruity notions of Red Delicious apple flesh that is perfumed with blood orange. The palate is more slender than the nose suggests and expresses its richness in depth rather than breadth. There is a compelling white pepper savouriness that pervades the wine and seems to highlight its statuesque nature, its vivid freshness, its absolute poise. More air reveals hints of candlewax and candied orange. An aromatic and elegant marvel. A.K.
