Tasting Notes
Light salmon pink, delicate gold reflections. On the nose hints of fresh orange zest, subtle red berry nuances, underpinned by rose and jasmine. On the palate a touch of apricot, yellow apple, a creamy texture, a hint of caramel, powerful, subtle fruit in the aftertaste, some nougat in the background, mineral and salty. A sturdy food wine with definite ageing potential.
More about the tastingVery mineral on the nose, damp stone and sparks, some wood is also recognizable, and (currently) rather little fruit. Dense on the palate, clearly marked by wood, extracted and fresh, almost astringent and giving the impression of excellent ripeness, juicy and again mineral on the finish.
