The rosé wine »Les Clans« Côtes de Provence Rosé, vintage 2022 from the winery Château d'Esclans has been rated in 2024 by Gerhild Burkard with 94 - 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grenache, Vermentino from the region Cotes de Provence in France.
Brilliant salmon pink with orange reflections. Initially there is a light oak spiciness, with aromas of blood orange, fresh lychee and sloe in the air. Youthful, taut palate with finely spiced tannins, very finely balanced acidity. The creamy finish delights with a pleasant ginger spiciness and nuances of milk chocolate. An elegant rosé with a certain kick.
