Tasting from 26.05.2011

Bright, dark brick red, amber rim. Lush bouquet of leather, earth and jam, dark berries, some vanilla. Be sure to let it breathe for at least an hour so that it can develop its complex interplay of cassis and blackberries, dark chocolate, minerals and spicy wood notes on the palate. Silky tannins, roasted aromas in the finish, good ageing potential. A fine accompaniment to red meat, sauce dishes and fish prepared in red wine.
