Christian Zündel's wines are certainly the best example of how amazingly graceful and noble the Burgundy variety Chardonnay can reveal itself in Ticino. The Velabona comes from a single vineyard and is extremely complex on the nose, with citrus notes, ripe yellow fruit and savoury hints. On the palate, it is powerful, balanced and emphatically mineral.
