Tasting Notes
The "Alte Reben" is already very piquant on the nose, with intense apple notes and crushed coriander grains. The acidity also carries through to the palate, challenging the taste buds. Despite the tart attack, there is plenty of density and depth.
More about the tastingApple and apple peel on the nose, herbs, the summery scent of a vineyard, warm slate, some rosemary and caraway. Multi-layered on the palate, fruitiness, spicy-slate nuances, supported by acidity and citric tartness which combine to form a coherent ensemble. Multi-faceted.
