Tasting from 25.11.2025: Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach

Deep dark ruby in colour with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a very delicate ochre rim. On the nose, nuances of caramel nougat, fine blueberry confit, notes of blackberry, candied violets, bourbon vanilla and subtle roasted aromas, with a hint of black olive in the background. The powerful palate is complex, with pronounced grippy tannins, fine acidity, and a dark minerality, with ripe black cherry and delicate hints of plum. Youthful tannins are notable on the long finish with notes of cherry, black forest berry and hints of fine chocolate. Has ageing potential, and will benefit from further bottle ageing.
