The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Cupano has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, flint ruby. Intense nose, opens with notes of sandalwood and leather, then red berry fruit. On the palate it is very concentrated, dense structure, opens with rich tannin, ripe berry fruit, rich drive on the finish, still some oak overhang on the finish.
