The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Cupano has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red. Spicy components of clove and black pepper on the nose, followed by ripe black cherry and a bitter chocolate aftertaste. Great juiciness on the palate, spreads out radiantly and heartily, comes again and again in many layers, firm drive on the finish.
