The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2021 from the winery Cupano has been rated in 2026 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Montalcino in Italy.
Rich, dark ruby. Dense and compact nose, presents itself with notes of plums, blackberries, some date syrup and cloves. Radiant on the palate and develops full-bodied, lots of ripe fruit, grippy, gripping tannins on the finish, still somewhat brittle, needs time.
