The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Cupano has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant dark ruby red. On the nose, many dark components, earthy tones, leather, sealing wax in the aftertaste and some alcohol. On the palate, a rich, fleshy start, creamy and warm, with earthy tones on the back palate and nice juiciness. Best to aerate beforehand; unfortunately a little alcoholic.
