Rich, dark yellow gold. Intense nose marked by the use of wood, smoke, tobacco and candied almonds. Full-bodied, muscular, powerfully structured palate with plenty of drive. Balanced acidity and fine mousse linger very long. Compact, elegant finish with delicate vanilla notes. Needs air and hearty food to show full splendour. Great ageing potential.

Bright golden yellow. Oak aromas to the fore, grilled tropical fruit, banana peel, crème caramel and mocha on the nose. Mouth-filling opulent drive, pronounced fruit, almost oily on the palate, fine acidity. Complex, vinous style with textured elegance on the intensive finish of roasted nuts. Demanding crémant which needs air and time.
