Tasting from 26.05.2020: Ulrich Sautter
Freshly grated lemon peel, lemon blossom, very fragrant. On the palate a supple attack, then a dense terpene character, and mineral. It still seems comparatively introverted and has great reserves, fruit and acidity are finely balanced. It is a very profound riesling full of content and ageing potential, and it has an intensely mineral spicy finish, of oyster shell and iodine.
