Tasting from 09.07.2019: Ulrich Sautter

Initial spiciness, plump and round on the palate, restrained acidity, good palate fruit, mineral tones, combines volume and juiciness, finishes soft with good aromatic accompaniment.

More about the tasting

Still youthful and reductive on the nose, some wood, soft approach, tight acidity, but very mineral, supple base, lots of juiciness into the long finish, natural, unforced fruit, shows the sometimes somewhat impetuous character of Saint-Joseph wines in an accessible form.
