Tasting Notes
The nose oscillates between ripe fruit, fig, dried pear, some shimmer, wild strawberry, plum, and complex savouriness. On the palate, a supple attack is followed by a grainy, still firm tannin on a still quite soft base, body and acidity are very closely interwoven. A resting, very fine wine, long with a somewhat denser than just medium-weight structure, mineral undertones. Completely old school, but delicious.
