The white wine Morey-Saint-Denis Premier Cru Clos des Monts Luisants blanc, vintage 2019 from the winery Domaine Ponsot has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 95+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Aligoté from the region Bourgogne in France.
Somewhat aromatic, floral and slightly savoury undertones, lilac, rusty water, apple, also a hint of wood. On the palate it shows with a silky, chalky palate structure, lively, well-integrated acidity, good but not over-concentrated density, clearly mineral-influenced, good volume without leaving the realm of elegance. Pointed chalky finish, substance for 20+ years.
