Tasting from 08.09.2016: Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser, Othmar Kiem

Leather and hazelnut, toasty smoky wood, fir saplings, wild strawberry, with air contact also damp stone, almost slate-like. Silky and creamy on the palate, subtle acidity yet plenty of juice, aiming entirely for seamless roundness, elegant and mineral finish. Subtle style, typical of the vintage mild and round packaged.
