A comparatively distinctive woody tone with toasted notes, plus some prune and herbs. Also woody on the palate, it has medium-weight extract, juiciness and thus an animating appeal, well-integrated acidity, the alcohol remains inconspicuous in the background. An elegant, coherent Châteauneuf.
