The red wine Saffredi IGT, vintage 2011 from the winery Fattoria Le Pupille has been rated in 2014 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich sparkling ruby purple colour. Impressive rich nose, aromas of ripe dark blackberry, blackcurrant, plus some fresh fig, and fine dark chocolate. Rich, dense tannins, lots of vivid ripe fruit on the palate, long finish, still a little lingering oak on the finish.
