The red wine Saffredi Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Fattoria Le Pupille has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Radiant, deep ruby red with violet glints. Opens with notes of smoke and truffle, underlaid with ample blueberry nuances. Substantial, hearty tannins on the palate marked by an onset of fine spice, traction. Needs further ageing.
