The red wine Saffredi IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Fattoria Le Pupille has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep ruby with fine violet shimmers. Intense and dense aroma, displays notes of blackberry jam, plums and blackcurrants with a generous amount of cardamom. Exhibits ample ripe berry fruit on the palate, round and supple followed by an abundance of blackberry and blackcurrant notes, vivid with well-integrated tannins and persistent length.
