The red wine Saffredi IGT, vintage 2014 from the winery Fattoria Le Pupille has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby with a slight purple hue. Opens with pronounced savoury notes, nuances of sandalwood and tobacco, rich notes of ripe wild blueberries in the echo, fleshy. On the palate dense and compact initially and when developing, shows a lot of dark berries, clear and rich, finely meshed tannins, develops slowly, long finish.
