The red wine Saffredi IGT, vintage 2008 from the winery Fattoria Le Pupille has been rated in 2011 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense ruby colour. Very fragrant compact nose, with notes of elderberry, redcurrant and clove. Very polished compact tannins on the palate, builds up in a multi-layered way, full-bodied, lots of sweet texture on the finish, fruitier than the 2007, but still a touch more polish.
