The red wine Saffredi IGT, vintage 2012 from the winery Fattoria Le Pupille has been rated in 2015 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright intense ruby with purple tinge. Clear and intense nose, showing notes of mint, then lots of currant and plum, very polished. Compact on the palate, as if from a single mould, but never becomes overpowering, instead retains a nice flow, finely meshed tannins.
