Bright ruby. On the nose emphatically spicy-leathery, lightly animalistic, also earthy, then peppery with nuances of very ripe berries and cherries, echoes of graphite. On the palate just as spicy with sweet driven tannins, spreads generously across the palate, gentle dry notes, nevertheless full and clear, needs decanting.
