JAHRGANG: 2023 REBSORTE: 70% Gamaret (Gamay und Reichensteiner), 30% Merlot. WEINAUSBAU: Traditionelle Kelterung mit einer verlängerten Maischestandzeit von 10 bis 14 Tagen in Edelstahltanks bei kontrollierter Temperatur (28 - 32 °C). Nach der Gärung wird der Wein während 12 bis 14 Monaten in neuen (70%) und einjährigen (30%) französische Barriques ausgebaut. Die beiden Rebsorten werden separat vinifiziert und erst kurz vor der Abfüllung assembliert. ALKOHOLGEHALT: 13% Vol. FARBE: Intensives und tiefes Bordeauxrot mit Violettem Licht. BOUQUET: Sehr intensiv und komplex. Aromen von roten und schwarzen Beeren dominieren, darunter zeigen sich würzige Noten von feinen Kräutern (Lavendel), und Röstaromen von Tabak. GESCHMACK: Kräftig und frisch. Fruchtig, elegant, mit einer sehr guten Struktur. Die sehr verhaltenen Tannine bieten ein samtiges Gaumenerlebnis mit würzigem Abgang die an Lakritze erinnert. SPEISE-EMPFEHLUNG: Begleitet am besten Lammkeule, andere herzhafte Fleischgerichte und gut gereiften Käse. SERVIERTEMPERATUR: 16 - 18 °C LAGERFÄHIGKEIT: Seinen vollen Charakter entwickelt der Dogaia 2023 ab Sommer 2025; bei optimaler Lagerung wird er bis 2033 und darüber hinaus grossen Genuss bereiten.

Blackberries, plums and cherries, underpinned by strong oak notes. Medium-bodied on the palate with a beautiful melting texture and silky tannins, supported by a ripe acidity. Medium-long finish accompanied by roasted notes.
