The red wine 'a Rina Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Girolamo Russo has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio from the region Sicily in Italy.
Brightening ruby. Opens with emphatic earthy notes, of flint and iodine, then fresh cherry. Hearty and grippy on the palate, grippy, dense tannins, builds up nicely, hearty and juicy, a bit rough but very good.
