The red wine Feudo Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Girolamo Russo has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio from the region Sicily in Italy.
It has a medium density, with a fine red colour. There are intense notes of rhubarb, pomegranate and flint. It has firm gripping tannins on the palate, and appears very powerful, with a saltiness and a long finish, but it still needs ageing.
