The red wine ‘a Rina Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Girolamo Russo has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright cherry-ruby colour. Expressive, floral on the nose, with nuances of oranges and raspberries, plus some geranium leaf, inviting. On the palate with a beautiful texture and great tension, balanced, very clear, of medium weight and high drinking flow, young tannin on the finish.
