The Red Wine Feudo Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Girolamo Russo has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio from the region Sicily in Italy.
Dark cherry red with ruby highlights. A deep nose of wet stone and cold smoke, with hints of ripe raspberries and cherries. A savoury dried rose petal note also emerges. Balanced and vibrant on the palate, it opens on velvety, polished tannins which come in many powerful and elegant layers.
