The sekt Rosé brut, vintage 2022 from the winery Griesel & Compagnie has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier from the region Hessische Bergstraße in Germany.
Brilliant salmon pink with fine copper-coloured reflections. Initially a smoky, woody nose with dark blackberries and a hint of blood orange. Refreshing mousse on the palate, supported by a balanced acidity and fine-grained tannins - mouth-filling and animating. Hints of tobacco and ripe red apple linger on the finish. A flavourful, still youthful food wine with ageing potential.
