The white wine Sanct Valentin Pinot Grigio Südtirol DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Kellerei St. Michael-Eppan has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, pale straw yellow with a shining core. Opening on the nose with delicate smoky notes, then fine oak spice, rich banana, white peach, candied lemon, but it needs air. It unfolds beautifully on the palate, creamy throughout, full-bodied, balanced and lush on the midpalate, with a powerful finish.
