The red wine Ciliegio Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery La Collina Dei Ciliegi has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella from the region Grezzana in Italy.
Bright ruby red with subtle rust-brown reflections. Milk chocolate, sultanas, dates and ripe cherries on the nose, with a fine use of wood, the fruit is restrained. On the palate a savoury, slightly vegetal undertone, hearty, shows good freshness and juiciness, but then becomes a little broad on the finish. Please be patient!
