The red wine Masseto IGT, vintage 1990 from the winery Masseto has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Light ruby, orange reflections, wide ochre rim. Developed bouquet, nuances of tobacco, sea buckthorn and cranberries, soft herbal nuances, a hint of black truffle. Juicy texture, notes of red cherries, very finesse-rich structure, subtle fruit, mineral, a touch of orange zest, lemony nuances, seems relatively light on its feet, offers uncomplicated drinking pleasure, but should be enjoyed in the foreseeable future.
