Tasting Notes
Very vivid, ripe nose of fresh Mirabelle plums with an edge of smoke. The palate has an edge of phenolic bitterness, reminiscent of citrus pith and there are stirrings of maturity. Lively bubbles shine a light on a lovely earthiness with chalky edges. There is a hint of candlewax and some dried lemon peel and a lovely, toasty depth. The finish is brisk, clean, and has lovely chalky depth.
