Dark ruby in colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and very subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, a multi-faceted bouquet of dark forest berries underpinned with a fine touch of vanilla, nuances of cassis, blueberry, lavender, red peppercorn, and some macchia. The palate is juicy and complex, with fine fruit, ripe tannins, and a mineral-chocolatey finish, shows length and ageing potential, a velvety giant with a great future.
