Deep dark ruby with purple reflections and subtle rim brightening. Underlaid with a touch of chocolate and cassis notes, black cherry, still somewhat restrained, fine tobacco nuances. Complex, tightly meshed, taut tannins, dark berries, vivid, supporting tannins, mineral, discreet nougat and caramel hints, lemon finish, still very youthful, a finely savoury, tightly meshed food companion, guaranteed certain ageing potential.
