The red wine Mediterra IGT, vintage 2010 from the winery Poggio al Tesoro has been rated in 2013 by Axel Biesler und Marco Lindauer with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark berry fruit. Black cherry. Currently somewhat reductive and reserved. Complex and demanding. Liquorice and subtle ethereal notes. Equally powerful and freshly acidic with tart elderberry flavours and piquant rose hip savouriness. Closes savoury and surprisingly juicy in the further course and remains distinguished and cool in character.
