The red wine Mediterra IGT, vintage 2012 from the winery Poggio al Tesoro has been rated in 2013 by Axel Biesler und Marco Lindauer with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
We felt transported to Paulliac: a noble bouquet of cassis, blackberries and the finest cedar wood spice. Underpinned by fine nuances reminiscent of leather and malt. Taut on the palate with clear minerality, robust tannins and outstanding length. An entrecôte and this wine. That's all you really need. But if you wish, perhaps a little more patience, as the wine will certainly improve over the next few years.
