Bright ruby-violet. Very clear and appealing nose, fine aromas of spicy macchia herbs, some pickled plums and elderberries. Velvety and supple on the palate, opens with fine-meshed tannins, shows lots of present, ripe berry fruit, lingering on the finish, subtle resinous notes.
