Tasting Notes
It has a deep ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a broad bright rim. There are aromas of ripe cherry fruit, with hints of dried plum and candied orange zest, and oak spice in the background. It has good complexity, with lovely tobacco notes, ripe red forest berry confit, fine tannins, persistence, tautness, and some minerality on the finish. It has good freshness, and has certain ageing potential.
