The red wine Santedame Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Ruffino has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Clear ruby with a light garnet edge. Fragrant and intense nose with notes of ripe, dark cherry and some blackberry, very clear. On the palate unfortunately quite a malty touch, opens with grippy tannin, dries up slightly in the back course.
