Tasting Notes
Dark colour. A bit toasty, elderberry juice, but also caramel, red sweet pepper, wormwood, beetroot. Powerful on the palate and filled to the brim with ripe, grainy tannins. Very intense and long, but also complex. Great certain ageing potential, and with underlying ripe acidity. Impressive! Clearly better than the Riserva Ducale in this warm year.
