Dark, shimmering ruby garnet colour. Fleshy and spicy nose of plum jelly and cranberry compote, followed by chocolate praline, coffee and tobacco. Round and powerful on the palate, with plenty of ripe fruit on very well-integrated tannins, lots of substance in the glass.
